Sinopsis
Dua belas orang pelajar yang terpilih bagi menyertai Akademi Fantasia musim kelapan dan diumumkan pada sidang media petang tadi akan membuat penampilan sulung di konsert pengenalan, TIRAI AF yang akan akan bersiaran langsung pada 13 Mac 2010, jam 9.00 malam melalui saluran rasmi; Astro RIA (saluran 104).
Pada musim kelapan ini, seramai enam orang pelajar wanita dan enam orang pelajar lelaki akan bertanding bagi mempamerkan bakat nyanyian masing-masing sebelum menjadi juara baru selepas negara menyaksikan anak jati Sarawak bernama Hafiz menjuarai Akademi Fantasia musim ketujuh yang berjaya meraih lebih 1 juta penonton pada setiap konsert mingguan.Genre
